FRENCH-BRED YEARLINGS DOING WELL. New York. July 18. Delbcrt Reiff was a visitor at Empire City yesterday, having just arrived from Saratoga. When asked if he intended remaining here a few days, lie replied that ho expected to return to Saratoga today, as lie wandnted to look after the big band of imported yearlings which he has quartered up there. He said that these imported youngsters were rapidly recovering from the effects of their long ocean voyage from France, and that lie hoped to have them in thoroughbly presentable condition before the opening of the coming race meeting at the Springs. He reports that all of them have been growing and filling out finely since their arrival at the Spa.
