DONGAN HILLS MEETING THRIVING. New York, August 3. Preston Lynn, with J. Mulcahy in the saddle, won the feature race of the third day of the meeting of the Staten Island Agricultural Society this afternoon. A clear day and a fast track brought many New Yorkers down to the Island course and the meeting is growing in popularity every day. R. T. Wilsons colors were again seen in front when Scabbard repeated his victory of the opening day in the second race. Scabbard opened second choice with Starry Banner favorite, but at the close the Wilson colt was favorite. Starry Banner was in front, but ran out 011 the first turn and was not persevered with. Preston Lynn won a good bet for the followers of the Zinimer Stable, when he scored in the last race.
