KILHES BUYS A POSSIBLE FUTURE STAR. Willis Sharpe Kilmer has received word from London that he has become the owner of a yearling colt by Cicero Bird in tho Hand, she a daughter of Gallinule the sire of Pretty Polly. The youngster cost him 1.3S0 guineas, which, expressed in United States money terms is ,176. The Cicero colt was bred by Sir M. Fitzgerald and was owned by his estate conjointly with tho estate of the late Sir Tatton Sykes. This youngster has the reputation of being the best looking yearling in Great Britain. He will be brought to this country as soon as possible and broken". Henry McDaiiiel will train him.
