CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Insurance John A. Payne, Cincinnati. Advt. The promoters of the ten day meeting at Max-welton Park, St. Louis, have made it known that about ,900 was lost in the venture. Mack Garner had a good day at Lexington Friday, sharing the riding honors with E. Martin, each boy having three winners to his credit. A. C. Parretto, who was restored to good standing by the Canadian Racing Associations on Wednesday, was suspended for the erratic behavior of Rey-bournc at the Hamilton, Ont. meeting. The old campaigner acted like a mad horse in the paddock, but failed to finish in tlie money in the race. The name of R. D. Williams, who is racing a stable in Kentucky, is being used by a seller of information operating at Lexington, Ky. R. D. Wii-Hams, the horseman, has no connection with the man and writes to that effect to Daily Racing Form, as a protective measure to both hjnjsejf and tlje public,
