TANLAC began slowly, but, under good riding, moved up steadily and, saving much ground when coming into the stretch, raced into the lead in the last eighth and held it. PARTIZAN was prominent from the start, but lost some ground by coming wide into the stretch after taking the lead and tired near the end. TOLERANCE ran well, but dropped back in the last eighth. HASTY MABEL tired in the last quarter. ALMA LOUISE was never dangerous. TALEBEARER dropped back after going a half mile. LANGDEN showed the most speed for three-quarters, but tired in the homestretch. BROOM SWEEP ran well and only gave way in the last eighth. JOCK SCOT quit after going well for-a half mile.
