THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS At New Orleans last winter jockeys F. Robinson and W. Crump had a memorable and long drawn out duel for the riding honors of the meeting, which terminated Jn favor of Crump. Something similar marks the Jefferson Park meeting, in which Robinson and A. Johnson are having a nip and tuck struggle, with Robinson at present having a shade the best of the contest in that he leads his more youthful rival to the extent of one more winning mount to his credit. Each of the pair rode five winners last week and in that respect excelled all competitors. At Havana W. Crump managed to squeeze home two winners and now appears unlikely to be disturbed in .his leadership, although closely pressed by Robinson and Johnson. At present the records of the thirty leading riders are: Jockey. Sits. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp. P.C.L.W.
