DISPERSAL SALE OF WICKLIFFE STUD When the dispersal sale of James W. Corrigans Wickliffe Stud and training stable occurs, it will afford breeders and racing stables in this country a golden opportunity to secure thoroughbred material of exceptional value. The breeding establishment consists of the six sterling stallions, Colin, Delhi, Disguise, Hippodrome, Last Coin and Ultimas. They are noted wherever the thoroughbred horse is known and all have met with stud success except Last Coin, unbeaten as a race horse, but yet too young to have any turf representatives. There are fifty-six mares in the stud, numbering some of the most noted matrons in the country. They have sent to the turf many of its greatest performers and are with foal to the above stallions, also Sunstar English and Fron- Inciuded In the dispersal will be the entire training stable; nine foals of 1914, all fillies, beautifully-bred and raced with success; fifteen foals of 1915, a number of which have already been returned winners; twenty-eight foals of 1916, coming two-year-olds, engaged in many rich stakes of next year and twenty-three foals of 1917. The sale is to be held on the farm at Lexington, Tuesday, January 15. At the same time there will be offered all the racing paraphernalia. A complete catalog of this sale will be ready for distribution January 1, and the Kentucky Sales Company of Lexington, under whose management the sale will bo conducted, requests that any one Interested write them for a copy.
