BIG ENOUGH FOR THE LATONIA DERBY Lexington. Ky.. April 8. — John II. Nichols, who is handling seven horses at the local track for his brother. Kinney Nichols, has had a troublesome nerve removed from Big Enoughs left fore leg and will point him for the litonia Derby. "Big Enough spread his left fore foot in the Harold Stakes at Latonia last year." said Nichols today, "and that is responsible for the condition which required the removal of the nerve. The foot has been regrown ami the horse is in good condition for the training he will get for the mile and a half Derby race." Others in the Nichols string are Clare. Velvet Joe, Kedmon and these two-year-olds: Mildred Thompson, b. f. by Transvaal - Kula. Puis Maid, b." f. by Transvaal Maid Militant. Silver Top. cii. f. by Ben Trova to Sorrel Top. Mildred Thompson is a sister to Elizabeth Thompson and is a runner. She has Iwcn a quarter in 23 I an I tline-eighths in 37.
