HAVANA HORSES REACH LOUISVILLE Consignment from Cuban Track Include Stables of Spence, Umensetter and Williams Bros. Louisville. Ky.. April 10.— K. B. Allen, who formerly o|»erated a breeding farm in the far west, is among the recent arrivals from Havana, where last winter he raced Clumsy Kate. Marion Wilson and Roy. All of these horses were sold by Mr. Allen prior to leaving Cuba. He is now ou the lookout for a uumlier of two-year-olds for the Kentucky season. Ruth Strickland was the only horse that K. C. Kohl brought back from Havana. Poughkeepsie. the other one he raced at Havana, was sold to a Cuban sportsman. The special horse trains from Hot Springs and Havana leached here Tuesday. Among the stables to arrive from the former track were those of C. Hawk. Milo Shields, J. C. Ferriss. John Iow. 11. W. Plant. W. L- Jtanfield and George Marlman. The shipment froui Havana included the stables of Jim* Imeiisetter, Kay Speuce. K. C. Kohl and Wil Hams Bros. The Hawk Shields band embraced Jack ODowd. Charming. Cruces. Ophelia W.. Clean Pp. Cheer Uader. Sedan. Impressive. Bradleys Choice. Aztec aud King Hamburg. Among the Ferriss consign nient were Hnrrv L.. Ziidora. Alda. Laggard. Ma-gikon and Hemlock. H. W. Plant brought Billie B.. winner of three races at New Orleans and two at Hot Springs; Gordon Russell, which won two races at Hot Springs: Bogart and Toy Miss, also winners at the Arkansas track. Among the John Lowe shipment were Brynlimah. Pleasureville and Durward Rolierts. The Havana special brought, among others, the following. belonging to Williams Pros.: Col. Marchmont. Sun God. Queen Apple, Reptoii. Kl Key. Jason, Zim and Donald Macdonald.
