_ NO INTERFERENCE WITH RACING Sport Will Go On at Belmont Park While Uncle Sams Flyers Conduct the Kail Route. New York. Auril 1 »-— In discussing the use of the Belmont Park track as an aviation terminal. Major August Jielni nl president of the Westchester Racing Association, said the move would in no way interfere with racing at the track. "The government desired a suitable landing site and considered Belmont Park the most desirable. The association was glad to let the government use the nark without charge as a patriotic duty." The Post Office departments official announcement of the new service says: "The three landing fields for the aerial mail service have now l»*en selected, and the work of preparing the fields and erecting the hangars will lie pushed as rapidly as possible. The service will Is* iu operation not later than May 15. The date of its inauguration may be anvanced considerably. "Difficulty was experienced in the selection of ■ landing site in New York on account of the high rental asked for a suitable property. The Westchester Racing Association, in a spirit of patriotism, tendered Belmont Park jio the government for this purpose free of charge, aud llie offer was accepted." ■*-
