WEBER BAND IS DECLARED LOYAL Lexington. Ky.. April 17. — Former United States Senator Johnson X. Camden, chairman of the Kentucky Stiite Kiicing Commission and president of the Kentucky Association, gave to the press the fol lowing statement, the result of au investigation which grew out of objections raised locally to the employment of John C. Webers hand of Cincinnati musicians to play at the forthcoming race meeting: "The management of the Kentucky Association wishes to state most positively and unequivocally, and to have it distinctly understood, that it will employ none but American citizens in any capacity whatsoever, and the facts ascertained establish beyond a doubt that fourteen of the fifteen mem bers of Webers Band were born in America and thai the one other member was naturalized in 1896 .-md now has a son iu France, fighting for our country. These are the facts and ought to settle the pro|Misitiou." This was accompanied by Hie following from A. Bruce Bielenski. chief of the Bureau of Information. Department of Justice. Washington: "Information indicates Weber loyal, lias uo alien enemies iu his baud."
