ACNES COOK set a fast pace and drew away after rounding the far turn, hut tired and swerved over to the inside at the end. CAIN SPRING ran a good race and hung on resolutely in the filial drive. MANOEVRE was forced to be eased up when the winner swerved over at the end. AGNES COOK tried to jump the fence and was astride the outside mil yt the post for live minutes liefore she was released.
