BILLY" JOE moved up steadily and made a fast and game finish. MOUNTAIN ROSE II. also finished gamely after saving much ground when coming into the stretch. BUSTER CLARK began slowly, but saved much ground when coming into the stretch and finished fast and gamely. E. J. LYXCH was forced back sharply 011 the first turn and lost more ground by coming wide, but finished well. BY* HECK ran well, but tired in the stretch. BENNY also tired in the last eighth.
