I 1 BRADLEYS STROKE OF LUCK ♦ Chicago Owners Filly Wins the Hinata Stakes at Lexington. • Choir Master Wins Again — Tacola Buns a Fast Race — Olga Star First in the Longest Dash. ♦ Lexington. Ky.. May 2. — E. B. Bradley entered the ranks of winning owners for this season with a stake victory, when his Itlushing Beauty, daughter of Ciuiard — Miss Ringlets, svorcd a haid-earned triumph over Loys, running in W. P. Johnsons colors, with Madras landing third, and the favorile Exempted, following far back. The juveniles met. in the Hinata Stakes, for fillies exclusively. If had a net value of S1,SSS.50 to the winner ami |M Baby Bond, donated by Mrs. Clarence Lebus of Hinata Place, for whose estate the stake was named. During the early stages of the race. Loys threatened to make it a runaway, bit Blushing Iteauty responded gamely and steadily to Centrys hard riding and succeeded in downing the leader in the last stride. Madras joined issue with the pair in the last eighth, but swerved, which caused Morys to stop riding her hard. Exempted, after staying with the leaders for the first quarter, tired and seemingly is more useful on a muddy than a fast track. Improved weather and a well arranged card was again responsible for a big attendance to view the sport. The racing was interesting and well enjoyed. Choir Master, carrying A. K. Macombers colors, started proceedings by taking the opening race after a hard effort to outstay Silk Lady, with the sup-]M sed good thing Tally landing in third place. Tally aud Spearlene. also w*»ll tmeked, were away iworty. Spearlene particularly beins unprepared at the start. A. B. Spreckels Docod made a runaway of the second race, in which two-year-olds met. Dick West emerged from the maiden ranks when he outstayed Iron Master in the third race. TACOLAS RACE GOOD ONE. Tacola showed a brilliant effort in the fifth race, which he won easily from a good band of three-year-olds, that included Bight Angle and St. Augustine. Olga Star allowed Cora Lane and Cordon Russell to show her the way for the first mile, but afterwards wore them down with case and von easing 1111. The last race went to Tnar. which led for the entire way and had an easy victory over Redmon and John I. Day. A. K. Macombers Orleans was sent to Beaumont Farm this morning, where she will be mated with Star Hawk. B. D. Pusey and J. Milton Smith. Jr.. of the Louisville and" Nashville Railroad, came over from Louisville this morning and announced that a special train would again lie provided for the use of owners, trainers and others desiring to go to Louisville the night after the races close here.
