IRON MASTER showed the most early spi-cd and held on gamely in the stretch drive. ADELANTE raced forwardly all the way. PAICINES began slowly ami ran fairly well. The others were always outrun. LOYS showed the most speed from the start, set a fast pace and held on well in the final drive. MADRAS was forced back soon after the start and swerved badly in the stretch, but finished fast. REGALO ran green and closed an immense gap. LEGOTAL was interfered with sharply when MADRAS swerved. EXEMPTED dropped back in the first quarter. 9QAC7 FIFTH RACE— 3-4 Mile. GORDON RlSSELL followed CORA LANE closely for the first three-quarters ami raced into the lead, but was tiring at the end. LITTLE BIGGER was going fastest of all at the cud after closing a big gap.
