1 ARLINGTON PARK BEAUTIFUL PUCE , • Arlington Park, where the National Capital Horse . Show Association held a five-days meeting last week, is described as a beautiful place, delightfully situated on the bank of the Potomac and few race courses iu this country have more picturesque surroundings. It is reached conveniently by trolley line and is a pleasant, but short motor ride from the heart of Washington. For a half-mile course, it I lirobablv excclls any other in the country. It has wide, well-built turns, and long, good stretches. The tract of the ground on which the course is laid out is large enough for a mile track and it may Is- that the modest beginning made last week 1 may lead to more ambitious things in the future, ■ which may necessitate the enlarging of the present course.
