SUN BRIARS FINAL TRIAL TODAY Louisville. Kv., May 8.— Over a muddy track at Iliurehill Kowiis yesterday morning. Willis Sharpe Kilmers Sun Briar was given his next to last work out prior to his Derby engagement Saturday. With Knapp in the saddle, the colt was accompanied a* Exterminator in tin- first half of the mile and a quarter and by Nelsweep in the latter half. He ran the distance in tin- following fractional time: :3%, 3 i. 48-... 1:14%, 1:27%, 1:42, l:M%i 2.VJ.. This was a creditable showing for the colt, in view of track conditions. Mr. Kilmer and Mrs. Kilmer were interested witnesses of the try-out. The ct.lt will be given another trial Thurslay, after which he will take things easy until Derby day.
