SAZA-XAMY was in forward contention from the start and, under hard riding, wore ROSE OF Al TI MX d..wn in the stretch and won going away. The latter showed the most early si eed and. if saved in the early running, might have won. JASOX closed a gap steadily and finished fast. JIFFY also came from far back. ARCH PLOTTER moved up swiftly just before rounding into the stretch, but had to be ridden to his utmost to outstay YORKVILLE. The latter began fast and showed the most speed aud, under good riding, stayed well in the final drive. ZIM came from a long way back in the last quarter. XDIO tired in the last eighth. SIROCCO showed a good order of speed, but tired in the last few strides. CLAIRVOYANT began slowly and had to race wide, but finished with a rush. SILK LABY was away slowly and closed an immense gap. BROOM PEDDLER showed a good order of speed, set a fast pace and had no mishaps. KATE ADAMS was gaining steadily in the stretch drive. AUDREY K. tired after going well for three-quarters. ACHERON suffered from interference and was forced back sharply 011 the first turn, then closed up much ground. CLARA MARTIN began slowly and tired in the stretch after closing a big gap. FAIR ORIENT finished gamely. DUKE OF SHELBY closed a big gap.
