BRIGHT FUTURE FOR CANADIAN RACING New York July 15 T P Piielan a wellknown Toronto horseman and A R London secretary of tin Hamilton Jockey Club who are New York visitors botli sneak encouragingly of the future out ¬ look for racing in Canada Mr London expressed the oninion that the Canadian Racing Associations could have the sport restored almost at once if they made the effort effortIt It is an organization though thai has always been governed by a most conservative policy and those in control do not care to take a chance on too hasty action They want nothing but strictly legi ¬ timate racing and are determined that when the sport is revived it shall be free from all objection ¬ able features and nolicies They believe this is the only way in which the higher class of sportsmen can be attracted and without their support there is little chance of putting racing on a plane that will give it the standing it merits and absolutely insure its permanence
