INDIAN BUYERS PAY HIGH PRICES Indian buyers continue to pay high prices for horses in England One of the latest purchases mentioned is that of Rocksavage by Rock Sand Manuka for which 20000 was paid with tile con ¬ tingency that he was not to be delivered until after the Two Thousand Guineas Rocksavage ran in that race and finished fourth Although horses now bring high prices in Australia that country lost a great market for thoroughbreds when Indian owners as i whole decided it was better to buy in England
