TRAINERS DEATH BLOW TO BRADLEY Saratoga X Y July 30 The deatli of Cliff Hamilton here Sunday was a great blow to E It Uradley who in addition to being his employer was his closest friend friendI I will miss him most keenly said Mr Bradley He had been with me for eleven years and I had the most implicit confidence iu him in every way and particularly with regard to his judgment with horses I regarded him most highly as a man and a friend If gameuess could have carried him through the operation he would be alive for the doctors here said he was the games t man they had ever seen which was something I already knew knewOnce Once down on the farm a distant relative of Cliffs became suddenly insane and taking a shot ¬ gun fired at Hammou through a window where he was busy with some accounts Instead of ducking in fear of another shot Cliff kicked out the window sash jumped through and captured and subdued the man who had shot at him himMr Mr Hammoit was born at Lexington Ky forty six years ago and had been interested in horses practically all his life He is survived by two children a sou nineteen years old who enlisted in the army and who now is located at Camp Sam Fordyce Tex and a daughter seventeen years old who is now in Saratoga with Mrs K H Bradley
