MILITARY HORSE ON EXHIBITION San Francisco Cal October 24 What Uncle Sam requires of the military horse how he is trained to obey with precision and how the well trained animal behaves when his schooling is fin ¬ ished these are points that will be exemplified at the great San Francisco live stock show scheduled to open here November 2 2The The military authorities will take advantage of the fact that the best live stock men of the west will be at the show with specimens of their animals Officers from the remount station at Camp Fre ¬ mont will bring to the show some of their best trained mounts lighter horses for the cavalry heavier ones for the artillery and fine saddle horses for tlie higher commanding officers These will be put through their paces and the qualities the army demands In an animal explained and the reasons therefor
