WAR SAVINGS STAMPS LIMIT MODIFIED According to sin announcement yesterday from the United States Treasury Department the limit of 1000 of War Savings Stamps that may l e purchased by one person at one time has been re ¬ moved Also the amount of stamps that may be held by one person at one time has been modified so that the 1000 limit now applies only to the 1918 issue One person holding 1000 of the cur ¬ rent series may also buy and hold 1000 of the 1919 series which is soon to be issued Including the cash received up to the beginning of the Liberty Loan drive the total treasury receipts from the sale of War Savings Stamps were 75040758211 This represents the purchase of stamps to the total maturity value of approximately 90200030500
