MR. BELMONT RE-ELECTED CHAIRMAN Proceedings of the. Jockey Club at Its Annual Meet-ing All Formal. XEW YORK, X. Y., January 9. At the annual meeting of the Jockey Club, held at IS East Forty-first street today, there were present Messrs. F. K. Sturgis. H. K. Knapp. Archibald Barklie John E. Cowdin. Robert L. Gerry. F. Gray Griswold, Andrew Miller. John Sanford, George D. Widener and Richard T. Wilsoiu Messrs. F. R. Hitchcock, II. K. Knapp and Andrew-Miller were re-elected stewards of the Jockey Club for three years. The treasurers report and the report of the chairman of the Breeding Bureau of the Jockev Club were read and approved. F. Ambrose Clark was elected a member of the Jockey Club. At a meeting of the stewards of the Jockev Club there were present Messrs. F. K. Sturgis, II. K. Knapp, Andrew Miller, John Sanford and R. T. Wilson. Major August Belmont was re-elected chairman of the Jockey Club. F. K. Sturgis was reelected vice-chairman and H. K. Knapp secretarv and treasurer. F. R. Hitchcock, II. K. Knapp and Andrew Miller were appointed a license committee. The application of Charles E. Darnell for a trainers license was denied.
