BIG CALIFORNIA PHEASANT RANCH SAN FRANCISCO, Cal.. January 9. J. 0. Cassoii has started stocking tin; large Guejito ranch, fifteen miles east of Eseondido. San Diego County, with Chinese pheasants. This species of pheasants thrives in a mild climate like that of San Diego County, and is one of the finest game bird in the world, a bird that is useful either in its wild state or when kept in coops and pens. They are of the ringneck variety, celebrated as producers and reproducers.
