Reciprocity and a promising two-year-old for which ItoK-rt L. Gerry paid a high figure. Good jockevs are evidently scare in England, Ap- plications are frequently being received here for riders. Mortimer Lynch, who lias just returned from William Olivers farm at Lakewood, says all the eight horses Oliver has jn the barn are In exeel- lent condition, but not feeling any better than the "Old Scout." . Reports from Bowie are flattering regarding the condition of the horses wintering at the Maryland track. The weather Is like summer in the Bowie section and every horse is doing fine. Not an instance of sickness lias been reported. : ,
