. s t f r TRAINER MILTONS GREAT HORSES G. E. Milton, the French trainer, recently dc-! ceased, handled a great many of the great French turf performers of his time. For M. de St Alary he trained the famous mare Kizil Kourgan, the winner of tho Poule dEssai. Prix Lupin, Prix de Diane French Oaks and the Grand Prix de Paris. He also had under his charge Basse point a daughter of Kizil Kourgan. which accounted for the Prix VermcUi, Prix du ouseil Mu11ieip.1l, Grand Prix de Doiiuville anil, lrlx Gladiilteur. as- well as her sun ISniliMir. which won the Grand Prix de Paris. Other owners for whom Milton trained some promi-p nent winners were M. Michel Marghiloman and ! M. Vagliano. Milton practiced for many years as a veterinary surgeon at Chautilly.
