Racing Statistics of Jamaica Meeting The second spring meeting of the Metropolitan Jockey Club at Jamaica was of nine days duration beginning June 12 and ending June 21 During that time fiftyfour races were run and 79341 dis ¬ tributed in stakes and purses The total average daily distribution amounted to 8815 In every respect the meeting was highly successful The attendance records even surpassed the high marks established at the first meeting and on several occasions Jamaica was crowded to its capacity The racing was in ¬ teresting large fields of wellmatched horses furnishing a
