VERSATILITY OF GOLDEN FLEECE In this years Irish racing at headquarters the Curragh of Kildare the old gelding Golden Fleece continues to prove himself something of a wonder He is owned by William Parrish and is not of approved lineage being by The Raft Quidnunc which is a mare of untraced pedigree and not in the general Stud Book Last August Golden Fleece won the Galway Handicap Steeplechase a little later he carried off a flat race of two miles at Leopardstown and another of a mile and seven eighths at Baldoyle and at the Curragh three weeks ago he disposed of a band of fifteen good horses in a threequarters sprint
