GRANT HUGH BROWNE BOBS UP AGAIN BUFFALO N Y August 12 Grant Hugh Browne the impossible has turned up again this time in connection with Colonel Loughlin of Wel land Out who is rich enough to swing Brownes scheme if he goes into it They announce that they will build a race track to cost a heap of money at La Salle N Y on the Niagara boulevard to open September 15 and operate it under the oral system of betting The projectors falsely claim that they already have the sanction of the Jockey Club which is not true The Jockey Club is not the sort of an organization to sanction or indorse any racing ven ¬ ture in which Grant Hugh Browne is interested The site of the proposed race track is not the same though in the same vicinity as that on which the equally impossible J Berger reared an imaginary race track some two years ago
