todays program and fur ¬ nished a victory for His Choice carrying the colors of J K l Ross Azurita landed in second place and La Rablee headed the others in third place The race hadta sjjljiijg much the best She was ridclen by the inexperienced Richcreek and the start found her totally unprepared resulting in her being away poorly She closed jvhat seemed an impossible distance and at the end was run ¬ ning fast and gamely but His Choice which had been practically the leader from the start held lengths in front of the Cuban owned filjy Joctey Musgrave who had the mount on Titania was un ¬ seated when she struck the fence asf a result of becoming involved in a mixup following Lukes Pet being shut off by Betty J on which Troxler had the mount Musgrave escaped injury and Trox ¬ ler was suspended for five days by the stewards for rpujjh riding v The colors of RaljParr which have been con ¬ stantly conspicuous during this meeting were much in evidence and representatives from his establish ¬ ment carried off a 4 doublet when Bughouse took the steeplechase and Blazes scampered tome in ad ¬ vance in the fical dash Both were favorites in the races they won BUGHOUSE A GOOD JUMFEB JUMFEBBughouse Bughouse showed himself to be a right good sort of n jumper for he stayed close to the speedy Bachelors Bliss and when the latter began tiring Bughouse dashed into the lead and won away off Bachelors Bliss showed the most speed during the early part of tlie race and took his hedges in fine style but the second round of the course found him tiring fast Toppy Nix which tried to maintain pace vithJthe lealerf rcame tovgrhf at the third jump a repetition of his last start when he fell over the same hedge in his ffort to keep close to Bachelors Blfss BlfssS S C Hildreths colors continue unsuccessful and his Arrah Go On again offended Avhen he easily succumbed to Ballyinooney in the opening race The Hildreth starter was an overwhelming favorite and led until rounding inl the stretch but when chal ¬ lenged he relinquished command with no apparent desire to dispute supremacy wjth the Hvinnen Sam Reh overhauled the others for third place placeQueen Queen of the Sea had the call in the third race which brought together an ordinary band of platers and Schnttinger who had the mount on her in lieii of Sande who was suspended yesterday by the starter for five days rushed her into the lead at once and showed the others the way until in the last sixteenth where Ensor signalizing his return to the saddle after a five days suspension brought upBene olent with a rush and won by a scant length Huttontrope was the next offending favorite to fail He showed plenty of early speed but when straightened away for the long stretch sprint lie was found wanting and War Rocket drew
