FINE PROSPECTS FOR KENTUCKY RACING SARATOGA SPRINGS N Y August 12 Matt J Winn general manager of the Kentucky Jockey Club was an arrival during the afternoon and will remain for the rest of the meeting He is en ¬ thusiastic over the bright prospects for Kentucky fall racing and predicts that it will to of record proportion Stake entries and applications for stable room by easterners have exceeded expectations We will be able to accommodate all comers said Mr Winn when queried with reference that there might be a shortage of stall space If necessary we will build additions to the already numerous stabling accommodations we have at all Kentucky tracks Mr Winn said that the many changes are being made at Latonia and the improvements will in ¬ clude the moving of the secretarys office ninety feet toward the paddock which will give additional space and be used for cashier tooths The removal of several obstacles and other improvements that have been made on the lawn will relieve congestion in general and enable spectators on the ground an unobstructed view of the racing While the entries to the Valuable Kentucky fixtures do not close until AujHwt 20 Mr Winn already has gathered a big
