SARATOGAS PROGRAM FOR THIS WEEK Grab Bag Handicap Grand Union Hotel Stakes and Merchants and Citizens Handicap Features SARATOGA SPRINGS N Y August 18 The Grab Bag Handicap at threequsrters of a mile for twoyearolds of the first class which is to be decided tomorrow the Schuylervllle a handicap at fire and a half furlongs for twoyearold fillies which will be run on Thursday and the Grand Union Hotel Stakes the Merchants and Citizens Handicap and the Beverwyck Steeplechase will be the outstanding features of the coming weeks rap ¬ ing The Mohawk a selling race that will be Tun today the Sarnnac Handicap which will be run on Wednesday are mere fillers fillersThe The greatest immediate interest is in the Grab Bag which is an event of the sportsmanlike charac ¬ ter of the Saratoga Special in that the nominators go in it blind and race practically for their own money The Grab Bag became a Saratoga fixture in 1014 Its quality as an attraction is indicated by the character of the
