Saratogas Remarkable Meeting Nearly 00,000 Distributed in Stakes and Purses During Twenty-Six Days of Racing Racing at Saratoga for the season of 1919 came to an end Saturday. All attendance records for that noted American race course were shattered and the meeting was the most remarkable ever conducted under the auspices of the Saratoga Racing Association. The racing covered a period of twenty-six days, during which time 158 races were decided and 298.357 distributed in stakes and purses. The daily average distribution amounted to 11,475. AAith the exception of Sir Darton, Eternal and a few others, all the best horses in the country were seen in competition at one time or another during the course of the meeting. The unanimous opinion of both turfmen and racegoers gives to Man o AVar the undisputed right of the. championship of the two-year-old division, turf critics of long standing hailing him as the greatest young horse since the days of the undefeated Colin. To his prowess Mr. S. D. Riddle owes his position, as the leader of the money-winning owners at the meeting, while Man o AVar easily tops the horses. i , : i : i . t i - t ; L . 5 , j 1 , i ; " For the first time in his racing career Mr. S.
