WAR CLOUD SEEMS IN FORM AGAIN NEW YOI1K. N. Y., September 1. AVar Clouds victory in the Belmont Park Autumn Handicapf wis his best form since his famous race against Jack Hare Jr. as a three-year-old for the Dv.-yer Stakes, when lie surpassed yesterdays race from the time standpoint with stake weight up. His performance today, when he set a new record for Belmont Park for the one mile and an eighth of 1:50, would indicate that he is coming back to himself again. His owner, A. K. Macomber, is in France, where a string of thoroughbreds under the care of trainer Murphy is being campaigned at Deauville. AVar Cloud was one of a big band of thoroughbreds bought by Mr. Macomber from their hreeder, J. B. Joel, in England shortly after the commencement of the Avar.
