J. M. G00DE ADDS HERALD TO STABLE LEXINGTON, Ky., September 3. John M. Goode today bought the four-year-old Herald, by Coy Lad Angerona, from H. II. Hewitt, the negotiations being conducted through trainer J. I. Smith. Goode also bought the yearling chestnut filly by Ballot Top AH, by Top Gallant, from A. Hundley and Son otj Danville. This filly has worked quite fast. Howard Oots string from Saratoga arrived at noon today and went into quarters at the Kentucky Jockey Club track. Dark Hills performance at the Blue Grass Fair yesterday brought John T. Ireland numerous congratulations, for he ran like a horse that may develop into a member of the handicap division. He is eligible to the Lexington Cup Handicap.
