ANSWERS TO QUERIES. G. A. McC, New Orleans. La. It was a telegraphic error. Purl and Fanny Cook was the Parr entry in the second race at Havre de Grace last Saturday. J. C, ,B., Toronto, Out. There are several fine starters for the English courses, notably E. AVil-loughby. Lieut.-Col. C. J. Coventry and .7. Marsh. The principal starter on the Irish courses is Major Blennerhasset. W- S. It., Louisville. Ky. We have answered the question several times. Kitchener officially weighed forty-eight pounds -when lie rode Red Deer to win the English Chester Cup in 1844. Kitchener is said to have -weighed but thirty-five pounds when he rode the Nonsense filly at Ascot in 1840. W. M., Louisville, Ky. Broomstick was not raced on St. Louis tracks. His half-brother, Broomhandle, was. Cannot say whether "Bob" Tucker raced his horses in St. Louis cr not. Kinloeh is in St. Louis County. Cannot find "Pat" Garrett in the Stud Book or racing records. Maybe you have the first name wrong.
