AAfAR SPIRIT gradually improved his position from tlie slow beginning and. finishing with a rush through the stretch, wore MISS KRUTER down and won in tlie last stride. MISS KRUTER, under slight restraint until in the final eighth, took the lead, but tired in the final drive. HOHOKUS ran well, but also tired after taking the load. PEASANT ran well, but also tired in the last eighth. PEERLESS ONE ran a good race. AYAR NOTE had a rough race. AAAAVBEEK set a fast pace, for the first half and quit.
