October 9. With the conclusion of the worlds series baseball games, sport enthusiasts hereabout are now looking forward to the running of the 0,000 . Latonia Championship Stakes to be decided at Latonia Saturday. While there is considerable disappointment expressed over the absence among the probable starters of the more prominent of the eligibles for this big turf prize, there is increasing interest being manifested, especially among Kentuckians, who hope fo see a western horse returned the winner.
