CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF E. Haynes has signed a contract to ride for It. h. Bresler for the remainder of the year. C. W. Clark of California lias purchased Pickwick from W. C. Clancy for a reported price of ,000. Senor A. II. Diaz has announced that William McDaniel will continue as trainer of his stable, having signed a contract for 1920. J. E. Madden has purchased the filly Star Class and the four-year-old daughter of Star Shoot Lady Bedford will be sent to Hamburg Place to join the stud matrons at that famous breeding establishment. Star Class was originally owned by Mr. Madden, who sold her as a two-year-old for 1919.sh,000.
