HAGERST0WN MEETING UNAUTHORIZED LAUREL, Md., October 15. Henry J. Morri?, one of the stewards at Laurel, received word from Algernon Daingerfield, assistant secretary of the Jockey Club, that the running meeting at Hagers-town is being held in violation of the Jockey Club regulations. Any statement that the meeting was regular attributed to Mr. Daingerfield, the latter said in his telegram, is without authority. A meeting of five days having been held at Ilagers-town in the spring, there cannot be another one this year with the approval of the Jockey Club. Horses and horsemen taking part in such a meeting, therefore, under the rules of the Jockey Club, will be outlawed.
