BINDING TIE raced forwardly from the start and made a game finish. GREY EAGLE was beaten off, but was clear of the accident.. B. B. JOHNSON was casing up when several others fell, and escaped a fall. PULLUX bolted into the fence and fell and A. N. AKIN and SANDY LAD fell over him. Won easily; second and third driving. THISTLES BEAU moved up fast and steadily in the stretch and overhauled HELMA in the last sixteenth to win going away. HELMA showed high speed from the start, but began tiring in the stretch and just lasted long enough to save second place. SAUER closed an immense gap in the last quarter. SIR JOHN VERGNE began slowly and raced into contention with a rush, but tired near the end. JUDGE DAArID was going fast at the finish. DRESDEN saved much ground on the stretch turn and finished with a rush. ..ST. GERMAIN ran well and would have won but for coming wide into the stretch and swerving. ABLAZE was going well at the end. AlOLA PARK set a good pace, but quit in the stretch. DIAMOND GIRL was always1 outrun.
