THOROUGHBRED SIRES AT HORSE SHOW NEW YORK, N. Y., November !.". Six thoroughbreds will be shown at the National Horse Show which opens Monday in Madison Square Garden. They are exhibited for the purpose of designating which is the best type for begetting general utility horses and remounts. Practically all are known to race goers ot the past decade. They include S. .1. Yanderbecks Allumeur; Cassilis Farms Uncas Chief; Troop K.s Oyama; Mrs. W. A. Wadsworths Uncle George; Mr. II. W. Wrights Ellisdale, and Mr. W. D. Clellands Bulgaria. Uncle George, Allumeur and Bulgaria are all imported horses, being sired respectively by Heckler, Meddler and Bulgaria by that celebrated French stallion Adam. Four of these exhibits are designated by the catalogue as bciug capable of siring good race horses, the two exceptions being Oyama and Ellis-dale. These four will be exhibited for a separate prize under the head of "horses suitable to sire . race horses." I As has been the case for the past few years John , E. Madden will Judge them. On Wednesday afternoon the visiting Prince of Wales will be a guest of i the horse show association, but unfortunately the thoroughbred classes will not be on exhibition tliat j day, but arrangements will be made for the prince ! ! -to view this class during his parade through the : stables.
