JEFFERSONS MAIN RACE TO BREEZE With Robinson in the Saddle He Scores in Easy Fashion in Maurepass Handicap. NEW ORLEANS. La., December 11. The Maure-pns-s Handicap was the cliief offering of the days racing at Jefferson Bark, hut Breeze, the five-year-old Ballot gelding from the stable of G. II. Abbott, robbed the race of whatever interest it aroused by making a showing of his opponents and winning by five lengths. However, as Breeze was a heavily backed favorite his victory was decidedly pleasing to the large crowd present. There was considerable improvement in botli the weather and track, with the result that some enjoyable racing was witnessed. Bon Tramp and Trusty put up a hot fight for first honors in the fourth race, the former getting the decision by a small margin. Lunsfords alert riding was principally responsible for Xeenahs victory in the third race. Incidentally It was Iter second straight success of the meeting. A a result of the disqualification of Youneed in the fifth race at Jefferson Park yesterday jockey AV. Mclntyre, who had the mount on youneed, had his license revoked. When Mclntyre saw Ticklish gaining on him he deliberately steered "Youneed wide and also struck Ticklish over the head witli his whip, causing the latter to tire and enabling Youneed to win. t,
