CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF- Fair Plays stud fee is placed at ,500, while that of Hourless is ,000. The Tijuana track is reported to be. in good condition and will need but little work to have it ready for racing on January 24. It is said that W. M. Jeffords has a yearling in his stable that has worked as fast as Man o War did in his best yearling- trial. The new. Irish race course at Navan. County of Sleuth. Ireland, is to have a main circular1 track bf two miles, with n straight tive furlongs. W. B. -Miller is said to be so impressed with the racing ability of Purchase that lie is determinyfl to book his mare Cherryola again to Orniondale, witli the hope of breeding another Purchase. Reports from the enst say that there are more promising yearlings in the big racing stables ot Ht P. Whltuey, R. T. Wilson, J. Sanford, W. R. Coe. W. B. Kilmer and other than "for several yearn past.
