MORE GREAT STAKES FOR HAVANA HAVANA Cuba March 27 II D Itrown whos efforts are responsible for racing in Cuba has been working like a Trojan for weeks to make racing even more popular here than it is The Grand National Handicap and Cuban Derby are of Mr Ilrowns own structure The government has now come forward with the announcement that it will donate t0HK to a stake to be known as the Double Kvent the conditions of which will call for horses foaled on the island This stake will be run in two divisions on in March 1021 for twoyearolds and the other ilso for twoyear olds in December 1921 10001 t be added to each of these stakes The value of si no of the regular stakes will be increased next y ar 10 M being added to tho Grand National and i000 each to the Memorial and Independence Handicaps
