BAR PUBLIC FROM LAUREL PADDOCK PADDOCKBALTIMORE BALTIMORE Md July 17 The public will be excluded from the paddock inclosure at Laur 1 Park next fall An announcement from the Mar land State Fair Association of extensive improy incuts to be made at the course before the open g in October reveals the fact that the local tra k officials purpose to follow closely the edict set Jown in New Yorl this year which bars all hut owners trainers and their assistants from the saddling ring ringImprovements Improvements at Laurel Park include a new pad ¬ dock now being constructed on the broad lawns to the right of the clubhouse A broad walk from which a view of the paddock may be had will be built for the public Excepting owners of horses participating in a race and trainers with their assistants others will be barred The back of the building will be inclosed with glass in the upper sections The roof which will be set high will be chiefly of glass An improved ventilating system which can be controlled with the vagaries of the weather is to be installed installedTwenty Twenty stalls eleven by ten feet which per ¬ mits ample room for saddling and proliminary prep uratious will be provided
