TURF PRIZES FOR J. K. L. ROSS In Four Racing Seasons Horses of the Canadian Turfman Have Won Nearly a Half Million Dollars Commander J. K. L. Ross, owner of Sir Barton, has scored a most successful career on the turf, since he made Ids debut in 1917. His winnings were not so large the first year, but he led the. winning owners in 1918 and -1919 and up to date this year" he Is near the top with Harry. Payne Whitney leading by a small margin. This can be accounted for. on account of the absence of Sir Barton from active racing since the early Spring.
