CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF A shipment of ten horses, including those owned by J. A. Strode, "Doc" Remus, S. Bernsides and W. L. Da.yenshire, has arrived at Montreal from Reno, Nov. . Jockey Ames accompanied the shipment. The fair meeting now in pogress at Hagerstown. Md ., is t!m first to be held under the supervision of the recently appointed Maryland Racing Commission. Two members of that body were present on opening day. Jockey R. Dcnyse, who was. suspended during the first meeting at Delorimier Park for an unsatisfactory ride on Bonstolle, has been restored to good standing by the officials of that meeting.
