Stallion flint rock loses an eye LEXINGTON, Ky., August 21. Flint Rock, by Rock Sand St. Priscilla, half-brother to Stromboli and to Princcps, which died last Wednesday at Saratoga, was returned to Major August Belmonts Nursery Stud yesterday minus an eye. He had been loaned to the breeding bureau of the Jockey Club. Col. R. L. Baker and John B. McLaughlin, supervisor of parl-mutuels on the Kentucky tracks. left last night for Detroit to attend the Windsor meeting. Both will return to Lexington in time for the racing at the Blue Grass Fair, which opens August 30. Major T, C. McDowell today stated that the yearlings lie purchased at Saratoga were for the account of his brother-iii-law Desha Breckeuridge, editor and owner of the Lexington Herald,
